WELCOME TO THE AFRO-CUBAN SALSA CONGRESS 2012 from 8TH - 10TH JUNE 2012 @ The Heart of Historic Waterford City - South East of Ireland.

ACTIVITIES ON OFFER AT THE 2012 AFRO-CUBAN CONGRESS

* 2 hour introductory workshop for absolute beginners and first time congress attendees on Friday 8th June 2012 from 5pm - 7pm

* 2 full days of dance workshops for all levels of experience on Saturday and Sunday - Complete Beginners to Advanced dancers - Workshops are from 11am to 6pm (with 15 minutes breaks between classes)

* 3 nights of fiesta dance parties - 'Friday Black Tie Gala', 'Saturday HOT Latin Party', 'Sunday Smooth Fiesta', - with The Best Djs playing music to suit all dancers from Salsa addicts to Afro & Latin music lovers

* Heart-stopping dance performances every party night

* Irish premiere of the film; "The Black Roots of Salsa" by Attic Independent Production based in Zürich

* Over 40 hours of workshops: - Popular Salsa, AfroCuban, Orishas, Folkloric, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Rueda De Casino, Son, Djembe, Africans & Cuban Contemporary dance along to Live Percussion & Singing

* Warm, friendly and fun-filled atmosphere at party nights which will include; Reggaeton - Kuduro - Wobble - Coupe-Decale - Logobitombo dance and more..
