We have some great news for everyone who attended the Bank holiday special @ Vinyl Bar on Thursday the 2nd of April who want to attend again as a weekly.

1. The venue would like to invite us back to host our "Fresca" party on a weekly basis for a month.

2. We are reducing the entry for the party to just £5 each.

3. We will be inviting guest DJ's on rotation to join our 2 resident DJ's

4. We will be changing the music policy slightly because as it turns out we feel classic Kizombas and Zouks and Sembas should be part of every night but we will stick to only playing Ghetto Zouk & Tarraxinha from the last year or two if they are specially nice songs no older. The policy will be new songs first and older songs later. So expect the classics to end the night ;)

The concept behind "Fresca" is that we will be only playing newest songs the latest Kizomba and Semba and Ghetto Zouk, Tarraxinha as well as a touch of Afrohouse, Afro Beat and and urban styles depending on the mood.

This concept means our DJ's will be challenged to the maximum to work hard and dig out songs you never got exposed to and haven't heard 500 times in the last 5 years so you can always expect to hear songs you haven't heard to much everywhere else.

Hosted at the very quirky and beautiful Bar Vinyl venue in the heart of London's shopping district 2 minutes from Tottenham Court Road underground station.

7:30 pm - Technique class with Syed Ali
8:30 pm - 2 Kizomba steps improvisation classes with Syed and Mikumba
9:30 pm to 2:30 am - Party with DJ KA and DJ Meow


DRESS CODE

Dress to impress, no hoodies, running trainers, woolly hats or sports wear. Smart, funky, elegant, african or sexy.
