Event Description

In the 1970s, Sierra Maestra was the first group to revive Cuban son. Considered by many to be the DNA of Cuban music, it became popular in Cuba in the 1930s and later became famous worldwide through the Buena Vista Social Club. The nine members of Sierra Maestra carry the son with them in their very core.
